What is the role of adhesives?
The application of several dots of anti-slip hot melt on the products reinforces the adhesion of the stacked packs and ensures the stability of the pallet as a whole.

Hot melt adhesives specially designed for pallet stabilization are available with anti-slip properties that do not tear substrates.

The application system is configured on demand and up to 8 hydraulic outlets can be installed with the Micron+ melter.
Application
The most common applicators in palletizing applications are of the pneumatic type and the dosing can be either in spiral or in bead. The application system is configured with the aid of solenoid valves that control the frequency of the products and allow the goods to be stacked sequentially.
The use of zero cavity nozzles is recommended for accurate application control.
Control
Adhesive application is unnecessary on the last row of the pallet so the installation must integrate a control system either from the customer’s PLC or through Meler’s StarBi controller.
